Team Theraputix has been Joey’s second home for the past six years! As our most experienced Physiotherapy Assistant, Joey ensures clients’ therapeutic needs are met. He regularly participates in continuing medical education to provide his patients with the most current evidence-based treatment techniques. With over 9 years of experience, Joey enjoys meeting the rehabilitation goals of individuals from high-level athletes to high-level gardeners or whatever other pursuit brings them to his door.

Joey has been in the Rehabilitation field for nine years. He studied at Humber College to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant. Since then, he has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at York University and successfully obtained his personal training certification. Joey truly has a passion for helping others, and his patients have no problem attesting to that fact time and time again. Over the years he has become a master at operating state-of-the-art equipment, like the Lokomat and Armeo, and found that physiotherapy was the perfect way to combine his passion for a healthy lifestyle with a desire to help others.
